BELMONT When Amity Highway Superintendent Bill Bigelow arrived at work Monday morning there was an unwelcome surprise waiting for him.
The surprise wasn’t what he saw at the town highway barn on Erie Avenue in Belmont, it was what he didn t: the highway department’s Ford F-250 plow truck, which Bigelow drives nearly every day on town roads.
On Tuesday, Amity-based New York State Police charged Tyler J. Fisk, of Belmont, with two counts of grand larceny, accusing the 29-year-old of making off with the plow truck and a credit card.
