The property on which a longtime family-run hotel in Uxbridge, the Quaker Inn, sits has sold for $1.8 million.
Formerly known as the Quaker Inn & Conference Center, the site at 442 Quaker Highway stands about one-third of a mile south of the interchange of Route 146 with Quaker Highway and Chocolog Road. The hotel was built in 1953 and is family owned and operated, according to its website.
The property was sold by a limited liability corporation registered to Shantilal and Mitaben Patel. It was sold by an entity registered to Bijal, Kanaiyalal and Bhavika Patel. Both entities list addresses of the hotel site itself. The sale closed March 16.
