As many as 7.12 lakh addicts got themselves registered at de-addiction centres across Haryana in the past more than seven years, with over 1 lakh enrolments reported each year from 2018 onwards.
Vij held that in this calendar year up to August 2, the police had registered 2,334 cases and arrested 3,209 persons and recovered about 181 kg of Opium and about 20 kg of Heroin.
The mining minister Mool Chand Sharma also gave details of the actions taken by the state government and said that all the 12 persons accused including the main accused of the DSP’s murder had been arrested.
