CHENNAI: The Narcotics Control Bureau, Chennai zone, has seized one kg of amphetamine, a very potent stimulant drug banned under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
Based on specific information, NCB officers seized 0.99 kg of Amphetamine from a courier at Guindy on April 24. The consignment containing four numbers each of cricket batting gloves and thigh pads was destined to Auckland in New Zealand, according to a statement from the NCB.
