KOTA KINABALU: Drought-hit districts in Sabah have received 6,736 cartons of drinking water donated by PETRONAS through the state disaster management committee.
Kota Kinabalu: The current hot weather in Sabah is not the worst compared to that of 1998 and 2016 when the El Niño phenomenon recorded its worst effects, said the Sabah Meteorological Department.
Most places in Sabah will experience average rainfall level during the La Nina phenomenon which is currently occurring, the Sabah Meterological Department said.
Its Director Amirzudi Hashim said the State is expected to receive an average rain water amount of 100 to 350 mm for the month of September
