As the Tampa Bay Lightning announced yesterday, Swedish goaltender Hugo Alnefelt has signed a three-year entry level contract with the team, beginning in the 2021-22 season. Alnefelt was selected as the 71st overall pick in the 2019 NHL Draft. Initially the Lightning announced that Alnefelt will join the Syracuse Crunch on a tryout contract next week, but later they refuted their own statement.
We have signed Hugo Alnefelt to a three-year entry level contract beginning with the 2021-22 season.
