By Saio Marrah Magistrate Mark Ngegba of the Pademba Road Court has committed a National Social Security and Insurance Trust (NASSIT) survivor benefit fraud case for trial in the High Court. He said there was sufficient evidence to try 46 year old Aloysius Borbor Barber in the High Court, rejecting an application by defence lawyer John JG Williams for the case to be dismissed.
A 46 year- old man Aloysius Borbor Barbar of Upper Allentown has been remanded at the Pademba Road Correctional Centre for allegedly forging a marriage certificate so he could become a beneficiary of the National Social Security and Insurance Trust (NASSIT) scheme.
