From Bloomberg: The roughly 65 million retirees who collect Social Security benefits in the U.S. will get an 8.7% increase next year to compensate for the highest inflation in four decades.
A national measure of prices in 20 large cities fell 0.44% in July, the first drop since March 2012, the S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller index showed Tuesday, Sept. 27. Cleveland is included in the 20 cities, though prices here were up slightly.
