Local Talk for April 2 included Dennis Hart s recap of the news from the pages of the Ames Tribune. 2009 Poet Laureate of Iowa, Mary Swander, provided a delightful background for her podcasts that can be enjoyed at AgArts from Horse and Buggy Land. Ron Edwards with Ames Animal Shelter provided a great summary of current cats in the shelter, no dogs, yet an adorable rabbit hoping for a foster home. More information at AmesAnimalShelter.com.
