reparations, in terms of monetary reparations being demanded in states like california be given. there was a bill put into congress by democrats demanding $14 trillion of reparations. i mean before we get to that, i think we probably should have that national debate. well, let alone the problem that quest regarding the research that supposedly went into the 1619 project which has themselves been widely reported both by liberals and conservatives i might add. right, the queen19 project was criticized by historians because it suggested that the american revolution was primarily motivated is a conflict over slavery. that s not true. and there were corrections made in the 1619 project, but it still received the pugh itser prize. but the point here is not that
important issue to debate. i mean, it s something that you can have in a social studies class and have some interesting discussion. but when you look at some of this material, it doesn t seem like they re going to have that discussion. in this case they re trying to get students in math class to just figure out is the appropriate amount of money to be given in reparations. you just had a biden appointee go to the united states nations and ask the united nations to try to compel or work towards reparations in the united states. and all of this is getting rather ahead of our skies because there are legal issues e but also the majority of americans don t support reparations. in fact this particular project, this citing a house bill, democratic bill is going nowhere because it doesn t have enough support and what you re seeing is this push to sort of normalize this demand. before we have that national debate, as to really should
