Clemson Athletics Black History: Danielle Hepburn
Danielle Hepburn was the ACC Player of the Year in 2008 when she was also named a third-team All-American by the American Volleyball Coaches Association. She became the first African-American Clemson volleyball player to make an All-America team and was just the second Tiger to make an All-America team in program history.
One of the most athletic volleyball players in Clemson history, she ranked second in the nation in blocks-per-set with 1.50 in 2008.
In addition to her third-team selection as an All-American in 2008, she was an honorable mention choice as a sophomore and a junior. Additionally, she was a three-time AVCA All-Regional selection.
