[Photo by Derrick Stuckly]The Howard Payne Yellow Jackets hung close with two-time reigning American Southwest Conference East Division champion UT-Dallas, but the visiting Comets emerged with an 82-72 victory in a non-conference tilt Saturday at the Brownwood Coliseum.
“There was some good and some bad and we had our moments,” said Yellow Jackets head coach Troy Drummond. “Our energy level was good and offensively we shot a little bit better than what we normally do from the field, but we’re still rushing the ball and taking some bad shots, but that’s guys trying to get something going.”
