there is still a part of our spirit that finds a way. that is actually genius at finding a way. because if we had to. it is not random genius, it is inherited that comes out of real practice. so that is part of what we are doing. saying, you know, we are here. i like to say, my mom s generation arrived in philadelphia. they had to build the community. they had enough time to tell their story. i had the time to tell the story. and so as the island is on a growing crisis and hopefully building resilience and new ways forward, the tories telling us to keep up. we are part of american history. i feel that strongly and loudly, it was not a my school history class. i am doing my little bit here. and on the stage. to say, no, we are part of this american records to. i remember when you were first staging water by the spoonful.
