Renowned social psychologist Floyd Henry Allport was an inaugural faculty member of the sociology department at Syracuse University's Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. Dr. Allport was also a devoted painter. In February, one of Dr. Allport's watercolors returned to Syracuse after years of private ownership.
