TAMAQUA — The 12th annual Tamaqua Area Hunger Campaign is in full swing with events scheduled throughout October and ending Nov. 5 with a Tamaqua Hunger Walk at the Community
Twice a month, there’s quite a bit of activity at the American Primitive Methodist Church in Tamaqua.
These are the days that the small church on Hunter Street distributes items from its food pantry.

Tamaqua’s October Community Hunger Campaign, sponsored by the Tamaqua Area Faith Fellowship and the Tamaqua Area Partnership, raised $16,000.
The money was raised through donations, a soup sale, a hun.
