PRESS RELEASE The American Paramedic Association (APA), an advocacy organization for paramedics, has launched a long-awaited new website and membership platform. Membership options include student, professionals, and lifetime memberships. The APA is also introducing an innovative concept to encourage paramedics to become advocates for themselves and their profession, even if financially challenged. “We are introducing a paramedic scholarship program that allows paramedics with the means to assist our financially struggling colleagues by donating a portion of their membership costs,” said APA Board Member and Minnesota paramedic Brad Buck. “This will help more paramedics to have equal access and have their voices heard as part of the national conversation.” The details of the membership and innovative scholarship program can be found at https://americanparamedics.org/.
