A family-friendly outdoor multilingual program that combines reading with the outdoors kicked off last week and will run through May 10 at American Legion Playground as well as the East Boston Branch of the Boston Public Library on Bremen Street.  The city’s second StoryWalk series will be held at American Legion Playground and the East Boston Branch Library in both English and Arabic.  At the park there will be a  multicultural “board book” that lets young children explore the area. Laminated pages from children’s books are attached to wooden stakes and installed along outdoor paths. As visitors stroll through the park, they are directed to the next page in the story.
