American Iron and Metal (AIM) is taking the province of New Brunswick to court over compliance orders issued at three of its sites in the province aimed at reducing safety risks.
Residents living near AIM's Moncton facility are concerned, after a report into a fire at the Saint John facility said that location was "entirely inappropriate."
At a court appearance, American Iron and Metal (AIM) received a $292.50 fine from the province of New Brunswick for operating its Moncton scrapyard without a licence on May 23.
