Tonight is the big night for all football fans and Cleveland, Ohio will surely be flooded with football fans as the National Football League Draft will be hosted there. As events will be surrounding the players across the United States- First Energy Stadium, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Great Lakes Science Center, thousands are excited not only for the draft itself but also the said to be festivities that will be taking place. Though the draft will be held in Ohio, South Floridians have a little something to celebrate as the Miami Dolphins will have the 6th and 18th overall pick. Not mention that history being made by a Miami high school. Word is American Heritage High, has about 7 players that could very well have a chance to be selected. If this happens this would break the record of the most students drafted in 1 year. Currently the most is 4 students drafted within the same school, one familiar school name is of course St. Thomas Aquinas.

2021 NFL Draft Prospect Profile: DL Tedarrell Slaton, Florida
Taderrell Slaton has a number of qualities that Dave Gettleman appears to like in defensive linemen. But does he have enough to draw the Giants interest?
Author:
School: Florida
He is a former four-star recruit out of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, where he attended American Heritage High School. He was the 69th ranked recruit in the 2017 cycle, according to 247 Sports. He was a bit of an underachiever while in Gainesville but had flashes that may intrigue a general manager like Dave Gettleman.
He played in 45 games and recorded 98 tackles, ten tackles for a loss, 3.5 sacks, and an interception. The Giants have an interesting situation regarding their defensive tackle situation. Slaton isn’t going to solve any issues that may arise from a departure of either Leonard Williams or Dalvin Tomlinson. Still, he could be an interesting player to bring in and develop due to his size and first step.

Alvarez attended Coral Gables High and St. Thomas University, which lies four miles from the Marlins old ballpark in Miami Gardens. He signed with the organization as a free agent in February 2003 and posted a 3.09 ERA in nine relief appearances his final ones in the big leagues.
Though he was born in Mexico, Amezaga attended Miami High. The Amazin Amezaga served two stints with the Marlins (2006-09, 11), slashing .255/.315/.339 with 39 doubles, 17 triples and eight homers in 437 games. The fan favorite appeared at every position except catcher and pitcher during a nine-year career.
(Miami)
A second-round Draft pick by the Marlins in 2002 out of Miami Southridge High, Andino played sparingly for them during the first four seasons of his 10-year career. He slashed .201/.250/.299 in 79 games before finding some success with the Orioles over the next four seasons. Andino returned to Miami in 2016, going 7-for-24 in 13 games.
