The volunteer staff of the Sycamore Youth and Community Center at 301 N. Fourth St., Steubenville, was singled out for state recognition, having been selected as a 2021 ServeOhio Award recipient for Northeast Ohio for outstanding volunteerism and service. The online award ceremony earlier this month featured a video interview by Sycamore volunteer teacher Marie Hosdil, and Bobbyjon Bauman, founder and director of the center at 301 N. Fourth St., Steubenville, who spoke on behalf of the volunteers, honoring them for all that they do at the center.
