Our faces covered with dust and blood and sweat and then he said you have kind of an out of the way up in the ivory towers the academics who are carefully watching the battlefield and then when the battle is over, they come down onto the battlefield and shoot the wounded and then he proceeded to say we have three expert marksman on the panel today so i will have to shoot a couple of people probably not in the audience, but in history as we think about rugged individuals and where its been and where its going. A pope today has to conduct, you know, hundreds if not thousands of audiences, meetings, encounters every year. It takes a tremendous physical toll.
