nobody let inside. no fans, just the players. abc s karen travers. that will be a little different. they want to get the game in the books at least. reporting live for us, karen, thank you as always. stay with abc news. we monitor the situation this morning. more live updates from us on america this morning as well as good morning america. now to the earthquake disaster in nepal. a huge exodus of survivors boarding buses out of kathmandu. the death toll following saturday s quake has climbed to more than 5,000. that number could double. as alex marquardt reports, yesterday provide some hope amid the devastation. reporter: with time quickly running out, rescue teams worked feverishly to find those still alive under the rubble. we watched as french and nepali crews climbed in and out of this building in nepal s capital working with almost no light. their equipment powered by small generators. when the earthquake struck, all the floors of this house collapsed.
you see a bunch of white kids who are celebrating after their team wins or loses a national championship burning cars and turning over cars and they re just revelers, they re just it s just a different situation. the president s going to get criticized no matter what he does. still, i don t think the term necessarily wrong in this case. you see what s happening on the streets but baltimore came together. they sure did. demonstrators in chicago took to the streets last night in a show of solidarity with those in baltimore. protesters calling for an end to police brutality marched throughout the city. they gathered outside chicago s police headquarters. they were loud, blocked traffic at times, remained largely peaceful here, however. you can stay with us here at abc news. we cover the situation in baltimore. we ll take you there live again on america this morning. now to the earthquake disaster in nepal. the death toll up to more than 5,000 people. some estimates say that nu
