Ohio Governor Mike Dewine announcing late last night polls will be closed today due to polls at risk of the coronavirus. Earlier a judge denied a request from dewine to move the primary to june. Its not clear how the court will respond to the governors decision. Heres the ohio secretary of state. What the Health Director has is Broad Authority to protect the health of ohioans. Theres a reason thats created by law. In a Public Health emergency such as this, difficult decisions are going to need to be made. Before the decision was made the president said he didnt think primaries should be moved. I think postponing elections is a very not a very good thing. They have lots of room in electoral places.
