Wait, so am I reading this correctly- landlords cannot enforce the rental agreement (i. e. Cannot evict someone for non-payment) but the county is not waiving it’s ability to collect it’s money due? Anyone who thinks that someone who wasn’t able to pay their rent for x # of months is going to pay back rent when the get reemployed or that a landlord will somehow be able to collect this back rent is just delusional.
momosmom December 16, 2020 (1:28 pm) I understand the reasoning of this moratorium and it is keeping a roof over peoples heads that more than likely would be out on the streets but in the long run it will just destroy all involved.IMO this is not good.
