Fear is one thing everyone experiences. Every animal has a fear of something, whether it’s a mouse scared of a snake, or a human scared of heights. We all have this one experience in common, but do we know what exactly fear is? Why and how it happens, and what triggers the responses? Do we know the difference between fear and worry/nervousness?
When the spring semester of my junior year began, my AP Literature and Composition teacher informed me that we were going to begin "Hamlet," a classic Shakespearean play. I can’t say I was excited to read this text, as Shakespeare can be extremely difficult to understand on an analytical level (unless of course, you can confidently interpret early modern English).
The unknown or rather, our unknown passions for the familiar is the binding force lending itself to genius. And often we get to that fire of impossibility by seeing a spark.
