WATERVILLE, Maine Hanover High graduate and Colby College women’s lacrosse midfielder Amelia Lubrano has been chosen the women’s NCAA Division III winner of the Yeardley Reynolds Love Unsung Hero Award.The honor goes to three women and three men.

Chalk advanced through to the NCAA semifinals in both the Division I men’s and women’s brackets, an interesting development considering the caliber of games it took to get to this point.
On the men’s side, North Carolina, Duke, Maryland and Virginia are the teams left standing to chase a national title. Patrick Stevens recapped how we got here.

“Beyond being incredible student-athletes, these six are extraordinary individuals who are committed to helping their communities,” said Sharon Robinson, One Love Chair, Yeardley’s cousin and head of the YRL Unsung Hero Award Committee. “We celebrate each to honor Yeardley’s beautiful spirit and the game she dearly loved.”
