While the eyes of the public watched the “Siil” (Hedgehog) large-scale exercise, the so-called Brown Berets – US Air Force Combat Aviation Advisory Team – visited Estonia for the first time, helping to polish cooperation between the air and special forces.
An A-10C Thunderbolt II aircraft assigned to the 104th Fighter Squadron, Maryland Air National Guard, involved in training operations off Estonia's Jagala-Karavete highway on Thursday made contact with an object on the pre-coordinated training area at roughly 3:15 p.m, as a result of which the highway will remain closed until Friday morning.
