After three Ponchatoula neighbors joined forces to stop a burglary in progress, two arrests were made and stolen property was returned to homeowners, the Tangipahoa Sheriff s Office said.
There will be a large barbeque lunch and both a silent and live auction on Saturday in Allen to benefit resident Jesse Nickell, who is battling cancer.
