Fundraiser held for two victims of triple fatality car crash

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas â Family and their loved ones gathered on Sunday afternoon to raise money for the funeral expenses of two women killed in a triple fatality car accident on Dec. 20.
The fundraiser was held for Jackilyn Espinosa and Amber Bazan Medrano, who both passed away on Dec. 20 after a head-on collision on FM 665.
Their families sold food and hosted a car show with Ondiados Performance and Texas Rides.
The event took place at Sokol Hall on Kostoryz in Corpus Christi.

UPDATE 7:50 p.m.:
The two children taken to Driscoll Children s Hospital were injured but are going to be okay. Two of the three deceased victims are (driver) 31-year-old Amber Madrano of Corpus Christi and (passenger) 23 year-old Jacqueline Espinosa of Corpus Christi. Both were in the SUV going westbound on FM 665. The driver of the sedan has still not been positively identified at this time.
