The teenager charged with murder after a 17-year-old girl was stabbed to death and a second taken to hospital in a critical condition in Parramatta on Friday night will spend two months in prison after not applying for bail in court on Sunday afternoon.
The two girls, both aged 17, were found with severe injuries at an apartment complex on Church Street about 10.45pm on Friday night.

In a three-minute hearing at Parramatta Bail Court, Kristian Kovaleff, 19, from Guildford appeared via video link from Amber Laurel Correctional Centre in Emu Plains wearing handcuffs and in prison greens. With neatly combed fair hair he sat passively during the hearing.
