A confined life, prolonged work from home and rising stress levels due to the pandemic have led to a steep rise in domestic violence in recent times, said mental health experts.
Mumbai: A woman working in the IT sector in one of the metros recently relocated with her husband to his village home, after both their companies allowed work from anywhere due to Covid-19. However, she felt out of place in the new setup, though her husband was happy to be back with his parents. She wanted to move back to the city but her husband opposed the idea.
