Antananarivo [Madagascar] January 28 (ANI): Ambassador Abhay Kumar met Malagasy students in Antananarivo who are travelling to India to study Master s degree in Cyber Security at the National University of Forensic Science in Gujarat and wished them a very fruitful and productive time studying in India.
He hoped that they will learn about India and Indian culture during their stay in India and will act as a bridge between India and Madagascar upon their return.
This year, 23 Malagasy students have been admitted to pursue their studies in various premier Indian universities such as Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi University, National Forensic Science University, Gujarat Technological University, and Andhra University in bachelor and masters courses such as Business Administration (MBA), Economics, Cyber

Anatavario, Jan 27 (UNI) Republic Day was celebrated at Indian embassy on January 26 in Madagascar where Indian Ambassador Abhay Kumar unfurled the national flag.
Celebrations of the 72nd Republic Day of India were marked by unfurling of the Indian National Flag by Ambassador Abhay Kumar which was attended by the Indian community in Madagascar. Ambassador also hosted a reception on the occasion of the 72nd Republic Day of India, in which the Defence Minister of Madagascar was the Chief Guest.
The newly elected President of the Senate of Madagascar as well as the Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development and the Minister of Telecommunications also attended the reception besides the Ambassadors and the Head of International Organisations in Madagascar.
