Ambassa (Tripura): In a shocking incident, a man in Tripura allegedly killed his wife and his mother-in-law on Monday. The incident took place in the broad daylight at Ambassa, Dhalai district, Tripura. The accused killed both of the women with sharp cutting weapons. The incident happened around 11.30 in the morning in the Ambassa colony area.
The accused is identified as Narayan Das, who lives in the suburbs of the capital city of Tripura, Agartala. He married Jayi Sahi years ago. His wife belonged to Ambassa colony area in Dhalai district, which falls in the Northern part of Tripura.

BGB hands over Indian youth to BSF: Cross border dealings open secret
Ambassa(Tripura), Dec 11(UNI) Amidst the recent tension brewed by the consecutive kidnapping of people at gun point from the international border by ultras, on Friday the Bangladesh Border Gaurds(BGB) handed over an Indian youth to the Border Security Force (BSF).
The incident took place at remote 8 No Duke area of Raisyabari border in the northern Tripura district of Dhalai on Friday.
The BGB invited BSF to a flag meeting. During the meeting, BGB handed over the Indian youth to the BSF who had been detained in Bangladesh. However, the BSF detained the youth at the respective BOP and interrogated him. It is expected that, the interrogation will throw light on other kidnapping cases in the area.
