AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - Numerous Panhandle businesses saw an irregular sale increase right after the New Year.
For some businesses after the new year is slow, but this year, some businesses were busy.
“Normally after Christmas we see a big decline because a lot of people spent a lot of money on Christmas and things like that, so there’s usually a drop off. But, you know, it could have been just the way that they worked out to be on weekends, that the holidays worked out that way. But I mean Monday through the weekend we were almost 28 percent more than what we would normally get on each day,” said Cody Blair, owner of Fire Slice Piz
