Winston-Salem, N.C. Glenn sophomore Amani Mock stepped to the free throw line with 0.4 seconds to play without having scored a point in the game, and then he calmly knocked down two from the charity stripe to give his Bobcats a 57-56 win over No. 21 R.J. Reynolds on Friday night.
The road conference win could well play the Bobcats into the HighSchoolOT Top 25, but more importantly for the Bobcats, it s put them in first place in the Central Piedmont 4A conference.
Mock got his chance at the free throw line off the bench because Sterling Vaughn was injured on a foul on Glenn s five-second rush to win the game down a point.
