The night’s mist clung to LED art pieces scattered throughout Tallmadge Park, giving each bulb its own little aura. And, when some 30 people filed into the festival, softly singing for a ceasefire in Gaza, the mist clung to the candles in their hands too. About 200 people gathered Saturday evening for free hot chocolate.
It’s a center for wellbeing that focuses on relaxation for body, mind and soul.

This year’s Trunk or Treat Halloween event held Friday at the Robert Crown Community Center featured about 30 vehicles from city departments and local businesses. Cars and trucks were clad in Halloween decorations for residents to enjoy. Some vehicles were Barbie-themed, others were Paw Patrol-adorned fire trucks. Children engaged in raffles, trick-or-treated and took photos.
