For more than 10 years, Delaware Online/The News Journal has been looking into Connections Community Support Programs – a nonprofit that at times boasted more than $100 million in government contracts to care for Delaware s poor, elderly and imprisoned, and those dealing with addiction.
About two years ago, we published an investigation detailing the falsification of treatment records at a taxpayer-funded program run by Connections designed to help drug offenders with addiction and behavioral health issues. That allowed Connections to bill for and collects loads of money for counseling that was never performed.

Has Wadsworth proven its ROI over the years and now as we battle COVID-19? My answer is yes. Can we afford not to invest in the new Wadsworth Center? My answer is no.
