Morgan LaRoche, of Dickinson, faced Criminal Vehicular Homicide for her involvement in a fatal pedestrian and vehicle crash in Dickinson last year. After a year of court hearings and motions, LaRoche changed her plea to guilty and was sentenced on Monday.
Demetris Shaquille Haney, 28, was arrested without incident following his involvement in a shootout during the early hours of New Year's Day at the Paragon Bowling Alley in Dickinson. Eight months removed from the incident, a jury found Haney guilty on four of the five charges he faced, including reckless endangerment, terrorizing and two counts of aggravated assault.
