While official surveys will be needed to confirm the cause of damage in specific locations, its likely that we saw a mixture of straight-line wind and a few isolated tornadoes, too.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - A clear, chilly evening is underway; this will be our last night below 40 degrees for at least the next 6-7 days, though!
For the remainder of the 7-day forecast we’ll have partly cloudy skies as opposed to sunny skies. So instead of 100% blue skies, there will be a mix of sun and clouds each afternoon Tuesday through Sunday. Still not bad! The bigger story will be temperatures.
