KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 22 The High Court here today dismissed an application by the defence to challenge the credibility of a key prosecution witness in the trial of former Youth.
KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 22 The application of the defence to obtain a copy of the key prosecution witness’s conversation recorded by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).
IN 2021, although it was the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic, which caused massive disruptions to the global economy, public-listed companies in which either the government or public funds hold more than 15% equity interest continued to reward their shareholders with generous dividends. Surprisingly, some even paid higher dividends year on year instead of conserving cash during the harsh economic conditions (see tables).
KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court here ordered the prosecution in the trial of former youth and sports minister Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman, who is facing charges for criminal breach of trust (CBT) and money laundering, to give a copy of the statement of a key witness recorded by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) in 2020 to the court.
