Hokie duo set in The Sally News Highlights: Hokie duo set in The Sally Story links ORMOND BEACH, Fla. – Virginia TechBecca DiNunzio and Alyssa Montgomery finished in 28th and joint 29th place respectively in the 2021 South Atlantic Women’s Amateur Championship (The Sally), which concluded Saturday night at the Oceanside Country Club. After five birdies in her final round, DiNunzio took 1-under-par 71 to climb the leaderboard. The sophomore from Norfolk, Virginia, amassed a total of four days of 305 (75-82-77-71). DiNunzio registered 14 birdies for the tournament. Montgomery finished one battle behind her teammate at 306 (71-74-80-81). The Knoxville, Tennessee resident took out 11 birdies over her 72 holes, including five in her opening round 71.
