COLUMBUS, Ohio –Ohio State’s 2021 All-Big Ten selections put their talents on display Wednesday in a 5-1 win vs. Stony Brook (6-4-0) in the first round of the 2021 NCAA Tournament in Greenville, North Carolina.
Alyssa Baumbick, a Third Team All-Big Ten selection this year, put Ohio State (8-2-3) on the board first with a goal in the 8
th minute. It was her second of the season and sixth career. The assist went to First Team All-Big Ten selection Kayla Fischer, her fourth of the season and 10

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women’s soccer team has been selected to participate in the 2021 NCAA Tournament and will travel North Carolina, site of the entire 2021 Spring Women’s Soccer Championships, to face Stony Brook (6-3) in a first-round matchup of the 48-team event. The Buckeyes and Seawolves will kick at 8 p.m. April 28. The game will be played at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina.
Ohio State is 7-2-3 on the year. The Buckeyes, who will be playing in their 14th NCAA Tournament and 10th in the last 12 seasons, hold a 12-12-2 record in NCAA Tournament contests, all under the direction of 24h-year head coach Lori Walker-Hock.
