A $3.4 million CDC grant was awarded to the CARE program in New Haven. It’s a collaborative effort between Southern Connecticut State University and Yale.
Taking aim at the underlying, corrosive racial and ethnic health disparities in Hartford, the city is taking applications for 20 residents to take part in the Hartford Health Leaders program to create health equity at the neighborhood level.
