Community Bulletin Board: Criterion Sentinel (for June 30)
A fireworks display will be held July 2 at Alvin P. Williams Memorial Park in the Sewaren section of Woodbridge.
Gates to the park open at 4 p.m.
Officials will present Killed-In-Action flags to families who lost a loved one from Woodbridge in any wars in the past. Call the Recreation Department at 732-596-4048 to register someone. The ceremony should begin at 7:30 p.m.
The Nerds will perform after the fireworks.
“Bringing the Night to Life” fireworks will be presented by Pyrotecnico Fireworks at around 9:30 p.m.
Lawn chairs, blankets and picnics are encouraged. There is no reserved seating.
