County vaccinations nearing 200,000

WOOD RIVER Madison County was nearing 200,000 COVID-19 vaccinations on Friday.
On Friday the Illinois Department of Public Health reported 199,871 COVID-19 vaccinations so far in the county. IDPH officials said 97,748 county residents or 36.96% of the county’s population are now fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
The MCHD no longer releases daily COVID-19 vaccination numbers. The Telegraph will continue to report Madison County vaccination data as released by the IDPH.
Multiple COVID-19 vaccination clinics are now available through the MCHD. Recently added MCHD vaccination clinics include the Alton Moose Lodge at 526 E. Delmar Ave., Godfrey, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, June 1, and June 1-5 at Gateway Convention Center in Collinsville.
