Refusal to vaccinate undocumented Venezuelans in Colombia criticized
Bogota, Dec 22 (Prensa Latina) Former Colombian President Ernesto Samper raised his voice on Tuesday in support of those who criticize the current government s decision to deny the Covid-19 vaccine to the Venezuelan migrants who do not have a legal status.
Samper gave an idea of the repercussion of the disposition by the Ivan Duque administration after suggesting the United States as a scenario where undocumented Latinos, a population sector consisting of some 11 million people, would be deprived of the vaccine. How about Trump denying Pfizer s Covid-19 vaccine to all Latino residents in the US as Duque announced on Monday for the Venezuelans in Colombia? What does @ONUHumanRights think, or what s left of it in Colombia, of this genocidal ultimatum? the former president tweeted.
