korean peninsula we renewed our efforts to encourage them to choose a better path for its people. he hopes the united states could size up the situation in north korea in a coolheaded, comprehensive fashion. china has been critical of the united states first for deploying an anti-missile system in south korea and secondly, for rejecting the proposal from the chinese whereby the united states would suspend its military exercises with south korea in exchange for north korea giving up its weapons program, its nuclear program, its missile program. the united states says that s not a productive course of action. china in response says the u.s. should then come up with its own alternative plan. their meetings will continue here in beijing tomorrow when secretary of state rex tillerson will meet with the chinese president ping. in the meantime, the two continue to be at odds particularly over the north
rick, i think that gentleman is 62 years old, which would have him a few years short of eligibility there. yeah, rick, let s be careful. but bigger picture, rick, for a republican sitting there in washington, look, we know it s been a challenge for them to put it mildly to come up with a unified alternative plan. they re going to replace obamacare with. it s a complicated thing, seeing these polls, how does that affect them psychologically? let s look at the history. the democrats were all in lock snap to pass obamacare. obamacare will collapse on it s own. you don t need you could sit there and say we don t need to replace it, but it ll collapse. it s like a lead airplane. and that same gentlemen same let s improve it. you can t improve, it s like adding more lead to an airplane. so there s a lot of pressure to fix obamacare, and the question is, how do you want to fix it? it s a mammoth project. and republicans aren t all lock step on how to replace it. can they get there
bobby jindal. in the news this week coming up with his sort of alternative plan to obamacare but also bobby jindal refuse to go do the medicaid expansion in louisiana. i wonder that aspect of it, has he paid a political price for that or is this the fact he s standing up to the obama administration, does that give him the political cover he needs? how is that playing down there? it s probably a little bit of both. we have seen the governor have declining poll numbers. at the same time it doesn t mean there has been an upswing for president barack obama. you re right that he has refused the medicaid expansion which would bring in about 242,000 louisianans and get them health care. his argument to not expand medicaid has not been persuasive at all in large part because it s so shockingly similar to proposals he has made himself.
the 7.1 million figure, it s off, by millions, millions. the guy who helped me crunch them, the republican governor happy to let me have his because bobby jindal has his own health care plan, a plan the president doesn t want you to know about because it s much easier to say republicans are all about repealing and not helping all for tearing down but never offering anything up. god forbid this truth gets out and this sinks in that some republicans have a variety of plans. it s just harry reid doesn t take them up in the senate and the mainstream media doesn t give them enough on the coverage. not on fbn. the real obamacare enrollment number will shock you and the republican alternative plan that will surprise you. on the only network that takes the time to do baitsic math for you. 8:00 p.m., you miss this, might as well stick a syringe in your heart and end it all now because you re going nowhere. this is the truth.
almost won for governor and was quite good and was expected to win. democrats say we have this slogan, we re going to fix obamacare. yet the republicans let them get away with the fact they never proposed any solution other than skip the election. on the other side, the republicans refused to have something to replace obamacare. i want to give you the last word, john. as the three of us knew when we talked about this before. this race would be used by the winner and the loser to set the tone for how they re going to run all their campaigns for this coming november. and the republicans now think all we have to do is run against obamacare, not propose our own alternative plan for obamacare. and we can still win the senate and keep the house. and democrats, i think, privately are panic stricken. nancy pelosi can say republicans are wasting their time, but the democrats running for re-election are worried to death. all right, thank you for
