Autism Society of Florida to host virtual conference to help parents

“We called it ‘No Limits’ because we feel very strongly that kids on the spectrum (and) young adults on the spectrum can accomplish their goals, can overcome challenges and be very successful in life,” Vallee said. “That’s a message that families, especially families with newly diagnosed children, don’t hear enough. A lot of times you don’t know where to turn, where to find resources, and that’s why we put this conference together. We want parents to see, ‘We can do this. Your kids can do this. They can do so well in life.’ ” The conference livestream is 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 22, but viewers will have access to the videos for a month. Passes are $35. For more information, visit autismfl.org/nolimitsconference.
