The coronavirus posed a challenge to businesses by forcing them to go into prolonged lockdown, but they could survive the crisis through a calibrated approach. The industries could mitigate the impact of lockdowns by adopting digitisation on a scale that was not seen before, said B. Santhanam, CMD of Saint-Gobain India Private Limited.

Edmonton’s LRT network will see several service disruptions from Feb. 25-28 as a long-awaited signalling system for the Metro Line nears completion.
Testing and commissioning for the alternative fixed-block signalling system will take place over the four-day period and the system could switch on as early as March 1. The Metro Line will be closed from Feb. 25-26 and the full LRT network, both Capital and Metro Lines, will be down on the weekend of Feb. 27-28, Edmonton Transit Service said Wednesday.
