Talking about a Valentine before Christmas is over
By Karen Zach, Around the County Thursday, December 17, 2020 4:00 AM • • Sometimes when I read an old newspaper, I find an interesting subject who did something amazing, possibly had a sad death, or if I am looking at a yearbook, I might notice a name that fascinates me and that is exactly what happened this week. Sue Ann Ford gave us some old Crawfordsville year books to add to the Montgomery County Gen Web project and when Jim got finished scanning one, he gave it to me to peruse. I was reading through the people’s names, wondering if any would make a good subject for my column. Actually saw several, but one of them really fascinated me – his name just rang in my ears.
